Welcome to MaleOrder

The purpose of MaleOrder is very simple; to help men who need assitance in the family court where they cannot afford help themselves but have earnings which exclude them from entitlement to Legal Aid.

MaleOrder is run as a Not for Profit (NfP) organisation by one man.

Help is completely free but any donations men would like to make to help ensure MaleOrder can help as many men as possible would be gratefully received.

Equally, anyone who is entering the legal profession and who would like to gain experience with some pro bono work can also offer their assistance.

Although not legally-trained, it is the aim of MaleOrder to provide as much or as little assitance as the individual requires.

MaleOrder offers help in the following ways:

• Providing a 'listening ear' for those men facing disputes in court over access to children, residence issues and divorce proceedings.
• Reviewing documents prior to issuing to the court.
• Helping to draft letters and documents for the individual to forward to solicitors and/or the court.
• Monitoring the case to ensure deadlines are not missed.
• Acting in the capacity of McKenzie Friend at court.
